By Jians Media | October 30, 2026

DALLAS, TEXAS — The Asian Culture and Education Society USA (ACAESUSA) proudly announces 103 award recipients in its Third Annual World of Love International Art Exhibition and Competition, held under the theme “Brushes of Freedom: Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary.”

The recipients include 101 youth participants and two adult artists. Through original artwork, participants explored freedom, cultural heritage, diversity, community, and their hopes for America’s future.

Throughout 2026, ACAESUSA expanded the impact of the competition through exhibitions, award ceremonies, and community activities in Texas, Nevada, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California, as well as participation in a cultural event in Washington, D.C.

The initiative also created opportunities for ACAESUSA to connect with national community organizations, cultural leaders, and distinguished individuals who shared messages of encouragement with the next generation.

Brushes of Freedom: Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary

The 250th anniversary of American independence offers an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s history while recognizing the contributions, aspirations, and perspectives of younger generations.

ACAESUSA selected “Brushes of Freedom: Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary” as the theme of its third annual competition to encourage artists to explore freedom, cultural identity, diversity, belonging, and the meaning of American citizenship through artistic expression.

For many young Asian Americans, the competition provided an opportunity to celebrate their cultural heritage while expressing their understanding of American society and their aspirations for its future.

ACAESUSA believes that young people should participate in this historic anniversary not only by learning about American history but also by sharing their perspectives through art, education, and community engagement.

“Our children are part of America’s story. Their voices, creativity, and vision are part of America’s future.”

In a special video message, ACAESUSA Founder and President Jan Xie shares why Asian Americans should celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and why youth participation matters during this historic milestone.

Art, Education, and the Meaning of America’s 250th Anniversary

The World of Love International Art Exhibition and Competition represents more than the presentation of awards.

Creating original artwork encourages imagination, creative thinking, patience, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate ideas and emotions through visual expression.

For young participants, preparing artwork for public exhibition can also build confidence, develop communication skills, and encourage appreciation for different artistic and cultural perspectives.

The “Brushes of Freedom” theme adds a special educational dimension by inviting young artists to consider American history, freedom, democratic ideals, cultural diversity, and the responsibilities and opportunities of future generations.

When young artists see their work displayed in libraries, community gatherings, and national conferences, they experience how art can connect people across generations, cultures, and communities.

The participation of adult artists further demonstrates how artistic expression can bring generations together through shared creativity.

Through its art programs, ACAESUSA seeks to inspire thoughtful, confident, and engaged individuals who use their talents to make positive contributions to society.
