Second Global Youth Ambassador Showcase Announces 90 Honorees, Celebrating Youth Expression and Cultural Understanding in Las Vegas

The Second Global Youth Ambassador Showcase has announced 90 honorees across five recognition categories. Through video submissions and live talent presentations, the program provided young people with opportunities to express themselves, share their cultures, learn from one another, and participate in cultural exchange with confidence and respect.

Students submitted videos in advance, and finalists were selected for recognition. Those attending the event also presented their talents in person. An in-person awards presentation took place on June 29, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, recognizing honorees who were present. Awards for honorees unable to attend were provided afterward.

The program extends its sincere appreciation to United Chinese Americans (UCA) for its support of youth development and exchange, and for supporting the awards presentation in Las Vegas. Opportunities like this bring young people from different communities together, giving them a wider audience for their talents and perspectives. The program also thanks the parents, teachers, and volunteers whose time and encouragement helped students prepare, participate, and build confidence.

Being a Global Youth Ambassador carries meaning beyond a performance or an award. It encourages young people to listen thoughtfully, respect differences, share their cultural backgrounds, and approach unfamiliar experiences with curiosity. The program aims to turn recognition into encouragement for continued growth, inspiring honorees to practice these values in their schools, families, and communities.

For young people growing up in multicultural environments, understanding their own heritage and learning about others are equally valuable. The showcase offered a setting in which students could tell their stories while appreciating the many ways their peers express themselves. Confidence, attentive listening, cooperation, and a sense of responsibility are abilities they can carry into future learning, relationships, and community participation.

This year’s highest recognition, Global Youth Ambassador Laureate, was awarded to Katelyn Hu, Meihua Zhou, and Xinyi Li. The program congratulates all 90 honorees and encourages them to continue sharing their voices, building connections, and contributing to their communities.
